BETA5 Chocolates Adds Some Pop to the Easter Bunny's Hop
April showers provided the inspiration for BETA5 Chocolates' "Springtime in Vancouver" themed Easter collection. Awaken the senses with bright, budding Easter eggs, and chocolate rain clouds filled with peanut butter raindrops. Owner and Pastry Chef, Adam Chandler, channels his team's creative energy to reflect the beauty of spring in this fanciful collection of Easter treats. And just in time for spring, the BETA5 pop-up returned to the Cambie Village on Tuesday, April 4.
In a nod to Vancouver's wet west coast weather, chocolate clouds shower peanut
butter raindrops to encourage Easter eggs to blossom in Raspberry + Cocoa Nib, Coconut + Passionfruit, and Hazelnut Praline flavours. Beautiful inside and out, this year's intricately layered eggs are truly works of art. Featuring alternating flavours of dark chocolate and house made praline, the eggs are available in two sizes - single-serving "bulbs" ($7 each, or 3 for $18) and larger "buds" ($39 each) that make the perfect shareable dessert. This collection embodies BETA5's unique approach to melding art and design into award-winning chocolate creations.
The sought-after creators of cream puffs, innovative chocolate collections and unique ice cream creations are returning to the pop-up space at 3345 Cambie Street from April 4 through May 15. The pop-up location will feature a new mural installation by local graphic artist and painter Scott Sueme. Look for the return of BETA5's ice cream sandwiches, as well as ice cream socials for those warmer evenings ahead.
BETA5 Chocolates recently introduced three new tea-infused flavours to their cream puff family: Mango Bubble Tea, Strawberry Jasmine and Matcha. Hopping in for Easter are Lemon + Yogurt Cloud and Peanut Butter Cup. Featured Easter cream puffs will be available starting April 4 through 13 at the Cambie Street pop-up location, and at both the Industrial Avenue and pop-up locations for Easter weekend.
