Canadian Debut of the Famed "Hoonitruck" Slated for 2020 Vancouver International Auto Show

Vancouver, BC -- With less than six weeks until the 2020 Vancouver International Auto Show, Valentine’s Day seems fitting for celebrating one of our top picks to fall in love with at the show, Ken Block’s World Famous Hoonitruck!

The 100th anniversary celebration takes place from March 25-29 at the Vancouver Convention Centre West.

GYMKHANA TEN HOONITRUCK

A well-known truck enthusiast Block set out to create the ultimate truck build to complement his infamous Hoonicar (shown for the first time in Canada at the 2019 Vancouver Auto Show), he started with a 1977 Ford F-150. Block’s Hoonitruck is powered by a custom-tuned Ford Performance V6 EcoBoost engine lifted directly out of the Ford Racing Ford GT Le Mans development program. Making 914hp at 7,400rpm and 702 ft-lbs at 6,450 rpm, the engine is a snarling, billet-aluminum menace.

The build, which took two years in the making, features some direct tie-ins to current Ford F-150 products. The vehicle features hand-shaped aluminum bodywork (identical to the military-grade aluminum that Ford uses currently), Ford Pass remote start integration and even a functional backup camera/tow hitch setup.

Presented by SONAX Canada the truck will be on display as the marquee feature of their booth and shown North of the border for the very first time. As a proud sponsor of the Hoonigan Racing Division, SONAX Canada has more than 65 years in the production of premium car detailing and paint car innovation.

HOONITRUCK by the Numbers:

- 1977 Ford F-150
- 3.5 liter Ford Performance/Roush Yates EcoBoost V6
- 914 horsepower, 702 lb-ft of torque
- Chassis design, engineering and bodywork by Detroit Speed Engineering
- Hand-hammered military-grade aluminum bodywork

Review: Mott’s Fruitsations + Fibre

Made with the goodness of Mott’s Fruitsations apple sauce, plus the benefit of added fibre that is essential to a healthy digestive system. Each cup contains 2 grams of fibre, and has no added sugar, no artificial colours or flavours and contains no peanuts or gluten.

MY THOUGHTS:

I chose the Mango Peach apple sauce because that is one of my child's favourite flavours. We actually tried all the flavours, but he likes this one most. These mini fruit cups are healthy and makes the perfect snack for school. Not just for school, it's also great for adults on-the-go. Great they have added fibre and also unsweetened.
