Started Up My Civic with New Battery

It's alive! Kakaka... *evil laugh* Ok, I was just being funny. I bought a new battery for my Honda Civic and finally started it up after 3 years of being dormant. Yep, and I bought a 1-day insurance to drive out to activate battery that I bought from Walmart. I've been looking around and they had the best price so I decided to get it there. They have the Energizer Brand which is quite a good brand.

Old Battery and New Battery
The old battery had some "stuff" growing on it. Disgusting!

I also drove out to get a car wash at the car wash place called PitStop Hand Wash in Richmond, BC. All shiny!

Before and After

Before and After

The engine bay is still super dirty. I gotta wash that on my own when I get a chance.

You won't believe how much carbon and "junk" that came out of that exhaust. I revved it and chunks of stuff flew out. Luckily I had a cardboard sheet laid out on the ground. Sorry I forgot to take pictures of that to show you.

No Time for Myself

I've been having a hectic day. With the toddler sick and my arthritis in my upper spine, it's hard to get things done. My little one cried for me in the middle of the night, AGAIN, demanding me to stay with him and sleep in his room. That's how the back pain started because the toddler bed is so small. I don't want to sleep on the dirty floor. I decided to sleep in and rest up at home. I could barely get up as my back and shoulder pain is killing me. I'm also skipping out on the Family Drop-In at Frog Hollow. My little one is sick and I don't want him to spread his germs to the other kids.

The day seemed to go well so far until my little one started getting fussy (don't want to clean his teeth after his meal). To make things worst, he threw up all over the bedroom carpet while he started balling and coughing at the same time. I spent most of my afternoon cleaning the mess and washing the soiled clothing. And after all that work, my back pain came back.

[edit] It was near the end of the day. And to add to my headache and back pain, the little guy brings his cup of juice into the room without me knowing (as I was in the washroom, even with the door opened) and he spilled it onto the bed. The matress isn't waterproof and there were no extra liner protection. I was furious. He's sleeping on the floor by himself tonight.

Oh, and Canucks lost, but there will be another time next year. What's horrible is the riot that's happening in downtown Vancouver.

I haven't had the time for myself for a while. I couldn't get my work done as I am always getting distracted with the child. I can't afford to take Brandon to daycare. I hope things will get better soon!

ShedMonster Professional De-Shedding Tool {Review}

When I had been introduced the ShedMonster, I had to try it out. It is the all-in-one grooming tool that said to reduce shedding by up to 90%.  It was perfect for both cats and dogs. I have a cat who occasionally sheds around the house. The would be bunches of fur at the corner of the walls, under the sofa, and even the ledge and inner corners of the stairways. The only thing I used on him was a fur brush. I was afraid to use the shedding tools because I was afraid it would irritate my little kitty's skin.

My cat loves it and enjoys being groomed. It makes him feel good.

What I like about with design of the ShedMoster is the smooth edges that protects the skin from irritation and also the ease of cleaning the tool. The handle has a yellow rubber grip for the user to hold it comfortably while grooming. It sure beats taking the time to clean this brush I've been using.

Features & Benefits:

•ShedZilla is a Professional De-Shedding Tool
•3-in-1 [De-Sheds, De-Mats & De-Tangles]
•Good for all breeds of dogs & cats
•Removes shedding fur while carving through mats & tangles
•Stainless steel teeth penetrate deep into the coat
•Smooth, rounded edges provide massaging contact to your pet’s skin

Here's just a short clip of me grooming my cat, Momo.

I would definitely recommend those with pets such as dogs and/or cats at home.
