Dad Can Look Good Too with Melvita

This Sunday is Father’s Day and who’s to say Dad can’t get a little me-time every now and then. On his special day, treat him to some organic grooming goodies from Melvita.

SHAVING CREAM

What it is: An ultra-creamy, foaming formula infused with moisturizing shea butter, aloe vera and birch sap to soften the beard, allowing for a more effortless, precise shave without irritation. This soothing cream also features a fresh amber scent and an innovative blend of papaya, lemon and olive leaves that helps slow beard re-growth.

How to use it: Moisten face with warm water. Lather slightly and apply evenly to face. Glide razor blade over skin. Rinse thoroughly.

What it costs: $25

AFTER-SHAVE BALM

What it is: A hydrating, reparative balm that replenishes the protective hydrolipidic barrier of the skin that can be damaged during shaving. This soothing formula contains ginger, candeia and calendula, which help prevent razor burn. A nourishing blend of fig, aloe vera, lemon and honey provides deep moisturization, while shea, jojoba and cypress nut restore skin’s health.

How to use it: Dry skin thoroughly and apply balm evenly over face and neck. Apply regularly to promote skin’s suppleness and slow down beard re-growth.

What it costs: $28

FACIAL CLEANSING GEL

What it is: A dual-purpose gel that exfoliates and cleanses skin. Gentle enough for everyday use, this gel is developed with jojoba wax beads and silica for superior exfoliation, while juniper, maple and birch sap deliver a deep clean, eliminating impurities and excess sebum and smoothing skin’s texture for an easier shaving experience.

How to use it: Wet the face, apply a small amount of gel (avoiding the eye contour area) and massage into skin using circular movements. Rinse thoroughly.

What it costs: $22

EYE CONTOUR GEL

What it is: A lightweight, non-greasy gel that diminishes the appearance of dark circles and other signs of fatigue under the eyes. This revitalizing gel formula can be used twice a day to rejuvenate the delicate skin under the eyes. It features buckwheat wax, caffeine and black elderberry flowers to firm skin, in addition to linden sapwood, Siberian pine nut oil, aloe vera, jojoba and shea for soothing and nourishing.

How to use it: Apply to closed eyelids from the inner corner of the eye towards the temples. Repeat for the area beneath the eye.

What it costs: $34
