During the past weekend, the red carpet of the 2012 Emmy Awards were filled with the latest trends - figure-flattering gowns, bright colors like yellow, orange and neon, and deep oxblood hues. Shopping mavens and fashion experts Liz Lange and Jane Wagman of Shopafrolic.com, choose their best-dressed on the red carpet, pointing out this Fall’s latest trends, including a few red carpet no-no’s.

Some of the “misses” of the night were not only about fashion, make- up like January Jones’ was over the top and not appropriate for this red carpet.

These colors and styles just didn’t work for Julie Bowen and Christina Hendricks. Sweetheart necklines are a no for us - everyone is always pulling them up and look as if they might have a wardrobe malfunction at any moment. NOT always necessary to look sexy.
