Kelly Rowland Wears a One-Of-A-Kind Christina Makowsky Design at the 2012 BET Awards

On January 14, 2012, Kelly Rowland (American singer, songwriter, actress, and television personality) owned the stage at the 2012 BET Honors in a one-of-a-kind Christina Makowsky gold mini. Kelly serenaded the crowd with her rendition of Mariah Carey’s “Fantasy” as a tribute to the American legend. Christina Makowsky’s luxury pieces are coveted by many such as Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul and dancer Cheryl Burke.

Kelly wore a ‘24K Tweed Dress’ with frayed black & gold crepe ($2650) by luxury designer Christina Makowsky during The BET Honors 2012 Awards at The Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C.

About CHRISTINA MAKOWSKY
With a design degree from FIT, and 28 years dressing the most elegant VIP women (as the owner of successful luxury boutique chain Georgina, which introduced brands such as Aalia, Balenciaga, Gaultier & Valentino to her clients), Christina Makowsky became inspired to design her OWN luxury brand. The Christina Makowsky LUXURY brand mantra encompasses integrity and exclusivity, therefore garments are never mass produced and are created and marketed in limited quantities. Christina Makowsky is constantly featured in top national, regional, and weekly magazines such as Elle Magazine, InStyle, GenLux, InTouch, and Newsday, just to name a few. She's been worn by top celebrities such as Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul, Selena Gomez, Cheryl Burke, Lisa Vanderpump, Stacy Keibler and more.

Christina Makowsky is an intelligent, iconic collection of timeless fashion pieces which any well-dressed woman needs in her wardrobe. The brand is committed to providing the highest quality pieces, made from the finest fabrics, with enduring workmanship and with impeccable attention to every detail on each piece (for example: hand-frayed silk chiffon edging, which adds "edge" to the spot-on-tailoring of her jackets).

To ensure the continued exclusivity of her line, consumers can only purchase the line at www.ChristinaMakowsky.com or via private order at her traveling pop-up stores in the USA and Europe. This limited access has only served to fuel the consumer demand for this US-made luxury line. Christina's demand and exposure initially began to accelerate when Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards and friends visited her NYC studio for custom-made creations for an event (and this aired on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills).

Christina Makowsky's philanthropic values are reflected in the fact that she often gives a percentage of proceeds from her trunk shows and other endeavors to various US charitable causes and foundations. In addition to designing her own luxury collection, Christina uses her fashion expertise as the creative director for Beverly Hills Lifestyle Magazine. The publication celebrates all things elegant, opulent, and chic.
