Vancouver Neighborhood Small Grants Celebration #VFNSG

Sunday (November 29th, 2015) was a productive day at Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood House where the Neighbourhood Small Grants Celebration was held. This was my 2nd year with the committee and I am very grateful to have made new friends in the community as well as getting to know other committee members. I love sharing all projects I have seen and have attended and let others know they can participate next year if they missed it.

There were over 150 people who attended the Wrap Up Celebration and it was a success. Things went really smooth and well-organized. Thanks to all the staff and volunteers who helped out.

The Community Harvest Dance folks performed a quick demo for us just before the speeches began.

And finally, not to forget to mention about the food and refreshments. People were mingling and a chatting and discussing projects with one another.
