Celebrate New Year's Eve With Mt. Seymour

North Vancouver, BC - Celebrate the New Year with Mt Seymour's 5th Family First Night on Thursday, December 31, 2015 - with fun family winter activities, hot apple cider, s'mores and an early countdown at 9pm.

Family First Night, North Vancouver's most popular family friendly New Year's Eve event, is located just 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Guests can enjoy tobogganing from 6pm to 9pm in the Snowplay area or take in the live entertainment by Tickles and Yowza the Clowns and the magic show by Schmedrick the Wizard. Once it gets cooler, cozy up to the warmth of two fire pits and sip hot apple cider while making s'mores. Three of Vancouver's finest food trucks will serve delicious treats and meals.

And for the bigger kids? There will be fire spinning performed by Vesta Fire Entertainment. Embark on the Snowquest Scavenger Hunt, enjoy a snowshoe fondue or encourage the little ones (7 and under) to try skiing and snowboarding with qualified instructors. The evening ends with an early NYE countdown and fireworks at 9pm.

General Admission for Family First Night includes entry, hot apple cider, s'mores, music, party favours, tobogganing, demo lessons, SnowQuest Scavenger Hunt and live entertainment. The tickets are $20 per adult and $15 per child (children under two years are free), and guests are reminded to bring their own sleds. Tubing costs an additional $10 per person and for an added $25 guests can enjoy the Snowshoe Chocolate Fondue Tour (one hour). Guests are encouraged to take the shuttle bus leaving from Parkgate Centre, starting at 5.30pm.
