Disney's Big Hero 6 {Review} #BigHero6
From Walt Disney Animation Studios, the team behind “Frozen” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” comes “Big Hero 6,” an action-packed comedy-adventure about the special bond that develops between Baymax (voice of Scott Adsit), a plus-sized inflatable robot, and prodigy Hiro Hamada (voice of Ryan Potter). When a devastating event befalls the city of San Fransokyo and catapults Hiro into the midst of danger, he turns to Baymax and his close friends adrenaline junkie Go Go Tomago (voice of Jamie Chung), neatnik Wasabi (voice of Damon Wayans Jr.), chemistry whiz Honey Lemon (voice of Genesis Rodriguez) and fanboy Fred (voice of T.J. Miller). Determined to uncover the mystery, Hiro transforms his friends into a band of high-tech heroes called "Big Hero 6."
It was New Years Day and our family of 3 decided to go out and catch the early afternoon show. We paid extra for the 3-D upgrade. When we went in, we found good seats at the upper and center row in the theatre. As the movie started to play, we were pretty excited and put on our 3-D glasses. Baymax and Hiro were the main characters and we would laugh everytime they did something we thought was hilarious. I thought the animation and storyline was brilliant. It was pack with action, comedy, and some heartfelt scenes. My favorite scene was when Hiro and his friends get together to create their weapons using their existing skills they had from tech school.
I'm a huge fan of comics with superheroes and villains. So far it is my favorite movie of the year. It was very entertaining for my little one as well. If you are into action films, you and your kids will definitely enjoy this film.
