Muse Gelato’s Halloween Favorite - Eternally Doomed Dirt Cake
Each year, parents look for new, exciting - and safe - ways to enjoy Halloween with their children. Instead of prowling the neighborhood, keep them happy at home by hitting the kitchen to cook up some sweet and spooky treats! Simply follow Muse Gelato’s quick and easy recipe and in no time, you’ll be enjoying Eternally Doomed Dirt Cake.
It starts with just a cup of Muse’s Chocolate Gelato. From there, add a few of Whole Foods brand 365 chocolate sandwich cookies, colorful tasty gummy worms, and a spoonful of your favorite chocolate sauce. Put them all together and voila.
It’s that simple. And satisfying for both children and adults! “When I was writing the recipe, I imagined it would be a fun dessert to make and enjoy,” says Brandon Moss, co-owner of Muse Gelato. However, it is also a great way for keeping our kids safe and off the streets on Halloween.”
Contrary to popular belief, Halloween does not have to be all about junk food. Eternally Doomed Dirt Cake is a sweet treat, but a healthier option. It’s not as bad for children as a bag of sugary candy or even a bowl of ice cream. “Gelato has less butter fat than ice cream,” explains Moss, “so it does not hold as much air, making it richer, creamier and more satisfying. Adding a few pieces of candy brings in the sugary aspect, but limits the quantity consumed.”
If you are looking for one exciting way to bond with your children this Halloween, than the Eternally Doomed Cake “Bake” experience is the way to go.
