Gaiam Partners with the Give Back Yoga Foundation

Gaiam is the leading producer and marketer in the yoga, fitness, and wellness brands.  They are committed to helping grow a consumer brand that is synonymous with yoga. Recently, the company announced a 3-year partnership with the Give Back Yoga Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that supports and fund certified yoga instructors of all traditions to bring yoga and mindfulness techniques to those who may not be able to afford yoga classes (including at-risk youth and veterans with PTSD). Mindful yoga therapy also help veterans to calm body through yoga mediation. Also, teaching first responders mindfulness tools to deal with stressful situations will help many personnel to alleviate stress and enhance performance through mental and physical training.

With this partnership, Gaiam is making a special contribution to the Give Back Yoga Foundation's "Light the Way for Heroes" initiative, a campaign that is designed to help fund and provide the proper yoga toolkit to these vertarans so they can practice and use yoga to increase performance and help others in the community.
