Arts and Culture in Vancouver

Culture in Vancouver provides a comprehensive listing of arts and cultural events happening in the city. It also has a sweepstakes component with fabulous prizes aimed at getting people excited, and booking visits to Vancouver.

ABOUT VANCOUVER

Vancouver frequently ranks as one of the best places to live in the world, and often evokes mental images of mountains, forest, and ocean for its many visitors. However, aside from the abundance of outdoor activities, Vancouver is also Western Canada’s largest cultural hub. In addition to the sheer volume of events, there is an incredible variety of culture available to everyone, ranging from opera and art, to comedy and burlesque. Visitors to Vancouver are able to find almost any activity that they want to do, as the city caters to a huge range of interests.

THE CAMPAIGN

Developed by Tourism Vancouver (with the help of Vancouver-based digital agency, smashLAB), the Culture in Vancouver campaign promotes local arts and culture, with a focus on encouraging those who live in communities across British Columbia to come to Vancouver and try something different. Meanwhile, for those who live in the Metro Vancouver area, the campaign encourages them to take in some of the many events happening in their own city. This is supported by a microsite with a comprehensive events calendar that offers quick and easy access to what’s happening daily in Vancouver. Learn more at www.cultureinvancouver.com
