Anime Revolution 2017: Event Coverage & Artist Features

Anime Revolution 2017 Vancouver

It was another amazing summer event at Anime Revolution (Vancouver's Premiere Anime Convention) during the long weekend (August 4-6). This year it was held at the west building of Vancouver Convention Centre while last year's event was held at the east building, which was a bit more crowded. On the opening day, it was pretty crazy to see this long line up of all the dedicated fans who came out to attend this exciting event.

This year, I like to do a small feature on some of the artist I came across, whose artwork have really stood out for me.

Regina based, Rawry & Pohly is pop art minimalism graffiti, bringing original styles to loved designs.

Meet Drake Tsui! He is a freelance illustrator based in Calgary, Alberta. His artwork has been featured in many online publications.

Meet Patricia Harold of CASE Boutique Canada. We love her adorable crafts. They are plushies - food with faces. They will make you smile.

This is Yang Fan (aka Jiuge). She is a character illustrator and also a mother of two boys! Her drawings are incredible.

Meet Erin! She is an illustrator and character modeler. She creates a lot of works on Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy, which are my favorite.

Thanks again to Anime Revolution for the opportunity to capture event moments as well as share with fans this event coverage. Check out more photos here on my Facebook Gallery: Anime Revolution 2017
