Vancouver Event: The Boathouse Horseshoe Bay Hosts Quails' Gate Wine Tasting Event (June 8)

The Boathouse Horseshoe Bay invites all wine connoisseurs to sip, taste & mingle at the Quails’ Gate wine tasting event on Wednesday, June 8 beginning at 7pm. Guests will enjoy an evening of hand-selected wines from the Quails’ Gate Winery that will be paired with a seven-course tasting menu prepared by The Boathouse executive chef, Harmon Wong.

MENU: First Course

· Brie cheese, Granny Smith apple, smoked salmon canape

Second Course
· Kusshi Oyster served with melon mignonette

Third Course
· Scallop Ceviche marinated with mirin, lime and wasabi
2014 Quails’ Gate Chardonnay

Fourth Course
· Wild Mushroom Salmon served with sockeye, wild mushrooms , balsamic and thyme

Fifth Course
· Blackened CAB Sirloin served with butternut squash puree and avocado cream

Sixth Course
· Roasted Rack of Lamb featuring a panko-crust, rosemary, thyme and served with roasted eggplant
