Prevent Loss of Personal Belongings and Smartphones with Nio Tag
I would be so devastated if I'd ever lose my iPhone, tablet, or even my camera gear behind somewhere or any valuable item stolen from me. With theft rates increasing, it's kinda scary. I've heard many stories, including the news in my local neighborhood where thieves are just grabbing smartphones off people's hands while waiting for the transit skytrain.
I was recently introduced to nio Tag. It helps secure and protect personal property. As the first Bluetooth-powered security tag, you can simply attach the nio Tag to any item you want to keep track of (i.e. camera bag, luggage, purse, laptop, etc.) or carry a nio Tag with you so you don't lose your smartphone or tablet. The app will alert you should you separate from the item or some tries to take it.
The nio Tag accessory package includes:
- nio Tag
- micro USB converter
- wearable clip
- 3 lanyards
Once you have the nio Tag, you can download the nio App. With the App, you can securely store confidential information, locate missing items, and lock your nio apps on alarm.
nio Tag comes with 3 FREE apps for your smartphone that help protect what matters most to you:
It doesn't work on all iOS devices. It is only compatible with iOS6.1 and iOS7 on iPhone 4S/5/5S/5C, iPad3, iPad4, iPad Air, and iPad Mini. Too bad the only latest smartphone I have is the iPhone 4, but I was able to test it out on my iPad Air.
FEATURES:
- Operational range (wireless chain) of up to 25 meters
- Light indicators for status and alarm
- Audible and vibration alerts on alarm
- On/Off button
- Detachable clip so that nio Tag can be worn
- Choice of coloured lanyard for attaching to key chain
I find this device very useful. I even tested it on my bicycle. I wish we had this technology back when I was in highschool. I remember my bicycle being stolen when I left it unoccupied for just 10 minutes. Now, my valuable equipment is my camera bag and my camera gear. When I'm out taking photos and I leave my bag down, I have my nio Tag attached in a hidden pocket.
Disclosure: I received the above mentioned product at no charge from the PR Firm/Company in exchange of my review in this post. Any expressed opinions are my own and personal thoughts. No other compensation was given.
