MAKEUP ON THE GO!
By Troy Edwards Celebrity Makeup Artist, and Expert on Maestro Market

With today's busy life, women are finding it more challenging to find ways to look fabulous. We see the tabloids, and what they are doing to celebrities! Sadly, we are doing the same things to ourselves. Making women feel self conscious! Here are a few tips to help you "get your life" while looking fabulous!

Moisturize: It is hard to put moisturizer on your face after makeup, but you can grab a small "purse sized" can of "spritzer" or a water mist. (Evian, Shiseido) Spray directly on the face to make you feel fresh and moisturized.

Foundation: Using a powder foundation compact is a great way to refresh your makeup! Use it as a touch-up after lunch, or when getting ready for cocktails after work! You can use them over any foundation product you are currently using. I like the "Skin Illuminating Foundation" from Bobbi Brown!

Concealer: This is the item that can make you look awake in an instant! Bobbi Brown has an AMAZING "corrector/concealer" method that is "the secret of the Universe". If you don't want to do that, an item that I JUST CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT is YSL's, "Touche Eclat"! This phenomenal product is like a "magic wand" that you can use alone or over concealer!

Eyes: Using "Long-Wear" products on the eyes helps you to look fabulous, without having to fuss! Whether it is in a stick or in a pot, these products help you to focus elsewhere, while people are amazed at how you can pull it all together, and still get so much done. My suggestions are waterproof mascara, long wear stick shadows, and long wear eyeliner. Using an "oil-based" remover helps you take it all off easily and smoothly! Remember to apply, hold (for 10 seconds), and then swipe for easy removal!

Cheeks and Lips: A MUST HAVE for any busy woman is a "pot rouge"! Grandma was onto something when she would put some of her lipstick on her cheeks! Various companies have this amazing product that helps to give you a "hydrated glow" on your cheeks and "express" color on your lips! Try out Stila and Bobbi Brown for the best in pot rouge.

Mini Palettes: Remember that "mini palette" you saw during Christmas Time and said "what would I use that for? Those are PERFECT to keep in your desk drawer or purse, anytime you need to touch up. Whenever you see these, GRAB THEM. They are perfect for a refresh during work, a post- work outing, or coming off the Beach and going to dinner. Not to mention, great for your travel bag! You
won't get upset when the Airport loses your bag! My suggestion is to get the ones with the "mini brushes". That way, you have everything you need to look your best!
