Birthday Celebration with Family

Thanks all for the birthday wishes!

This past weekend was my birthday weekend. I wasn't expecting much, but spending time with my family (with Hubby and Little One) was all I need. It was nice not to cook at home so we went out for lunch at Shota Sushi & Grill Restaurant. We've always wanted to try new places so this one was the first time we've been. Inside the restaurant was somewhat dim with a fancy setting. Food was a bit pricey than what we usually have at our regular sushi places. This was in Kerrisdale area (West End) so it is an expensive area.

Later that evening, Hubby decided to go out to eat at The Keg Steakhouse Restaurant. It's usually busy there during the weekends so we went earlier as many people arrive later to have dinner. Again, sorry for the blurry photos. This restaurant was also dim inside.
