Get the Look: Emmanuelle Chriqui's Hollywood Night Out Makeup
Rushing may have been the theme of the day, but Emmanuelle Chriqui’s soft red lips and natural eyes show anything but haste. The Entourage star looked flawless at the 2nd Annual Hollywood Rush event held last Sunday, February 19 – all thanks to celebrity makeup artist Sarah Uslan of the Serge Normant at John Frieda Salon in LA.
Sarah offers up her step-by-step for creating Emmanuelle’s flawless finish here!
It’s In the Eyes:
“I started with Bobbi Brown Brown Metal Metallic Long-Wear Cream Shadow and swiped a soft amount over the lid,” says Sarah. “Blending out the edges with my ring finger.” Follow with Bobbi Brown Really Black Ink Gel eyeliner paired with Dolce & Gabanna's angled eyeliner brush to create a defined kitten eye. Start with a light amount of liner as close to the lash line as possible, then from the outside corner begin to build a thicker line while making sure that the angle faces up and out to achieve your cat-like look.
Glowing Skin:
Using Armani Luminous Silk Foundation with a foundation brush, start from the forehead and work down the middle of the face and then out to the jaw-line. Always be sure to blend the seam of the neck and the jaw. Then take Bobbi Brown Bronzer in Golden Light and dust over cheek bones and forehead to contour. Illamasqua Blush in Chased brushed to the apples of the cheeks with Dolce & Gabanna’s blush brush will give that perfect complimentary soft pink cheek you need when doing a red lip.
The Lips:
“The perfect red for Emmanuelle was Dolce & Gabanna Lip Color in Scarlet which I traced over her lip with a lip brush and then patted on with the actual lipstick for more pigment.”
The Finish:
Dust Dmk Powder in Dark Translucent over T-zone to cut any shine. Use Laura Mercier's Brunette Brow Pencil to add definition to the brows. The final steps in completing this classic, clean and pretty look.
