Smallville Season 8 Finale
WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS
If some of you don't already know, I am a big fan of the TV series, Smallville. I've watching since the beginning and have never missed an episode.
March 14, 2010 was the season 9 finale of Smallville for episide titled "Salvation". I was out having dinner, but came back home just in time to watch it. It was the most epic finale yet and the suspense is killing me. Season 9 was a lot more interesting and it's bringing Clark Kent into becoming Superman, hopefully in the next season.
Here's the official description as from the CW:
Zod (Callum Blue) unleashes his army upon the world, forcing Chloe (Allison Mack) to call in reinforcements from old friends. Zod tells Lois (Erica Durance) he is The Blur and asks her to steal the Book of Rao from Clark (Tom Welling). Torn between Clark and The Blur, Lois asks Clark to come clean with her about everything but he refuses. Chloe (Allison Mack) and Oliver (Justin Hartley) attempt to reconnect Watchtower's satellite system in order to fight the Kandorians but to Chloe's horror, Oliver gets caught on site and disappears. Tess attempts to stop Zod but he leaves her clinging to life. Clark and Zod battle for control of Earth. Greg Beeman directed the episode written by Turi Meyer & Al Septien.
What I find most interesting about Smallville's Season 9 for the last few episodes:
- Chloe and Oliver gets together as a couple.
- Martha Kent is the Red Queen who was protecting Clark all along.
- Zod pretends to be "The Blur" to Lois to get her to steal the Book of Rao from Clark and later finds that he isn't "The Blur"
- Clark reveals his identity as "The Blur" to Lois by kissing her (she could not see him as they were in the dark alley). Lois recognizes the way he kisses and realize it was Clark.
