Free Comic Book Day
Yay for Free Comic Books
May 1st, 2010 is "Free Comic Book Day" (FCBD) where participating comic book shops give away comic books for FREE. Check out the website at http://www.freecomicbookday.com for more info.
Sorry for the late notice, but I just found out about Free Comic Book Day that is held on Saturday May 1st, 2010. If you're into comics or just want to check it out, drop by your participating local comic book shop.
I picked up some comics from my local comic book shop in my neighborhood on Saturday, May 1st. Yay for Free Comic Book Day! I was allowed to pick up one of each. The shop also set up a BBQ for their customers. Very cool!
I used to read Archie comics when I was younger. I was never into collecting comics until today. I also want to collect the action figures. I had a few before: Superman, Batman, and Bleach anime characters. Anyways, here's a snapshot of the comics I've picked up (also got some flyers for upcoming local events such as FanFairFest):
