Community Event: Hats Off Day at Burnaby Heights

Hats Off Day will be held on Saturday, June 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. along Hastings Street between Boundary Road and Gamma Avenue.

Hats Off Day is when the Heights merchants "take their hats off" to their community and their customers and the entire Heights community celebrates together. It's a huge, one-day extravaganza featuring a colourful main-street style parade with real local flavour, and a big street party afterwards.

Hats Off Day was voted "Burnaby's Best Festival" by Burnaby Now readers every year since 2005!

Show & Shine cars will be on display on Hastings Street between Willingdon and Gamma Avenues. 2009 vehicle category winners will be showcased in the Hats Off Day parade. There will be a parade and children's activities as well.
