If you know your pet has bad breath, you can help them maintain their oral hygiene with Teddy's Pride Probiotic Oral Care. Not to confuse you with Teddy's Choice and EvoraPet: In the US the product is called EvoraPet and the product outside the US is called Teddy's Pride.

Description:

Teddy's Pride is the first probiotic oral care formulated to inhibit the growth of the bacteria that cause bad breath and resulting in fresher breath as well as naturally cleans & whitens teeth. It comes in a white, powdered form and it is odorless and tasteless.

I remember my cat, Momo, occasionally have bad breath and I would talk to my cat and ask, "What did you eat?" Oh, he's a cute little guy, except when he has bad breath. Even finicky eater like Momo, he didn't notice any difference and Teddy's Pride Probiotic Oral Care can still provide him with the health benefits.

I sprinkle it with one capful on his food every morning, mixing into his wet cat food with the dry cat food. The first time I tried mixing it only in the dry cat food, it made the dish look powdery and white everywhere. Our cat sneezed when he sniffed it. After that, I mixed into the wet cat food as mentioned.

Ferrari & Lamborghini & Ducati... Oh my! It's heaven!

The past weekend was the Italian Car Show & Shine at the Italian Cultural Centre in Vancouver. The Hubby told me about it the night before. Too bad he was working and didn't get a chance to check it out. I brought our little one to see. It was near our neighborhood so I walked over there. It was still quite a bit of walk (about 10 blocks). This was a FREE non-profit event. Free events are always the best ones. It was a good turn out and great sunshine.

Here are some of the photos I took. I love italian cars, especially the blue Ferarri and the silver Lamborghini.

And there's also lap racing for the kids. Oh, how adorable.

Sorry for the late post here. I've finally got a chance to upload some photos from the DTP Car Show event that happened on July 16th, 2011. It was a horrible weekend, mainly because of the weather. I wish I didn't have gone to the show, but instead waited for other people (who went) to post their pictures online. Admission was $20 + tax. For those who went, was it worth it??? I was feeling miserable that day and I was feeling a bit negative about it.

Only a few cars have caught my attention.

During the weekend, we had a planned family potluck because one of my cousins came back from Toronto, ON for a short visit. I made chocolate dipped strawberries. The chocolate melted during the car ride to my aunt's house. Horrible! I forgot about the "somewhat" long commute from where I live. And then the last minute, I was thinking I should've brought plain strawberries instead (or did some baking out of it).

Since I didn't want to waste the strawberries, I made strawberry muffins from the leftovers that night. It's the first time I've ever made strawberry muffins (and a long time since I've done some baking). I had some for breakfast this morning and it wasn't too bad. It was nice and moist and sweet. It's not perfect, but I'll try making this again when I get a chance.

Recipe
1-2/3 cups fresh strawberries
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup vegetable oil

1) Preheat oven to 425F
2) Prepare 12 baking cups into muffin tray
3) Chop strawberries and slightly mash in bowl
4) Mix dry ingredients together: flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, cinnamon
5) Beat the eggs and mix with the oil and add in strawberries
6) Add the wet ingredients into the dry and mix together
7) Spoon the batter into the muffin cups
8) Bake about 20 minutes

One in every 133 Canadians suffers from Celiac Disease and 71% of Canadians are looking for more gluten free options on grocery store shelves.

About Gluten Sensitivity:
Some people have gluten intolerance in their diets at some point in their lives. What is it? Gluten are sticky storage proteins found in wheat and most grains. Those who are sensitive to gluten products may experience discomfort such as abdominal pains, gas, bloating, and even diarrhea.

My Experience:
I, myself, nor does anyone in the family have gluten intolerance, but the occasional gluten-free meals and snacks are nice. General Mills brand created a new cereal called Chex and is now available in Canada.

I was given the opportunity to try the Honey Nut flavor and the Rice Chex flavor. The cereal looks like mini square wheaties and I was very please with the great tasting flavor. Even my toddler loves them and keeps asking for more. The cereal is light and crunchy. My favorite is the Honey Nut Chex flavor as I like the hint of honey sweetness. I like both of them really. For breakfast, I love to have it with milk. Chex cereal can be consumed as a dry snack on it's own or mix it with other snacks.

Thanks to the General Mills Life Made Delicious website, I can find gluten-free recipes using the Chex cereal. Here's one of my favorites: Chicken Nuggets (Gluten-Free).

There are so many yummy recipes I'd love to try and most of them look very easy to make. I'll keep you all posted how my next meal turns out.

Give Chex a try. It's a new great-tasting Gluten Free cereal the whole family will love!

Disclosure: I am participating in the Chex blog tour program hosted by Mom Central on behalf of General Mills. I received samples and a gift card as a thank-you for my participation. The opinions expressed are my own personal and honest thoughts. No other compensation was given.
