Tetra Pak: Living A More Sustainable Life #RenewableLiving

What I like about Tetra Pak's innovative carton packaging is that it saves space (up to 30-40% less space), stackable, and has a significantly lower environmental impact than cans and glass jars. All Tetra Pak packaging helps protect our planet's limited supply of natural resources. They are mainly made from paper, a renewable source that can be naturally replenished. Many brands are now packaged in Tetra Pak cartons, including milk, soup, vegetables, and even wine.

I received some Tetra Pak items in the mail to try. Box got crushed by the courier, but luckily noting leaked. I received The Original Soupman and one can of Hunt's diced tomatoes. Lots of great flavor sealed in the Tetra Pak!

The Lobster Bisque Soup was really good. It had some spice and I could taste some of the lobsters.

The diced tomatoes had a nice zesty flavor in my pasta dishes.

I also participated in the series of challenges provided by Tetra Pak that has encouraged me to take daily steps toward living a more conscious, renewable lifestyle:

When grocery shopping, choose food and beverage products with renewable packaging, like cartons. When I'm lazy to make soup from scratch, I go to the supermarket and find premade soups. There are many soups available in cartons. They are usually the thick soups. Cartons are lighter than cans so I could carry more in my grocery bag.

Take shorter showers. I always try to take shorter showers and use less water. You'll also save energy that is used to heat that water. For my routine, it's just pre-rinse, shampoo & lather, clean body with body wash or soap, and then rinse off. I have other family members who share the bathroom so we make sure not to use up the hot water. Another reason I try to take shorter showers is that I have long hair and it takes forever to dry.

Bike or walk whenever possible. I walk to the park, community center and also walk with my child to school. During the summer time, I can bike to further places I want to go. Last summer, I rode my bike (after many years of not using the bike), I finally had the chance to enjoy it and get some exercise.

Swap your paper coffee cup for a mug. I bought a thermos and I take it wherever I go. It's convenient and I don't need to worry about spills. It keeps my coffee or tea warm when I'm out and about.

Why I would recommend this challenge to you is because you will see a difference and feel good about keeping the environment a better place to be. Make simple renewable lifestyle changes to live happier while protecting our earth.
