Evil Sorceress Costume for Halloween
It's already October and Halloween is just over three more weeks. I'm excited because I have a new costume. Since last year I didn't dress up as any character myself, this year I decided to dress up. I'm the one who usually help my little one dress up (to go to school or Halloween dance). I found some great women's costumes from Costume Supercentre at affordable prices. There were a lot of wonderful choices, but finally decided to go with the Evil Sorceress Costume.
The outfit is very cute and stylish. It features a full-length, long sleeved dress with high collar and plunging neckline. The sleeves contain a sheer black draping garment. The outfit also includes a belt and headpiece. Conjure up the power to tempt any mortal into joining your malevolent minion. Use your spellbinding beauty to mesmerize those who try to resist your heinous ways.
Anyways, here's what I think. The outfit set comes with the long black dress, headpiece, and belt. Though the pattern and texture of the dress is not exactly as pictured as on the model, it did fit me perfectly and the quality is great. I'm a size small and 5'2" tall. However, the chain belt loop was a bit too small to fit around my waist. I had to make a bit of modification by unhooking one of the metal rings to make the loop bigger and re-adjusting the crystal accessories on it.
As for the headpiece, it is made of soft PVC material. It was tight around my forehead. You can see in the photos, I had it sit above my head with my hair keeping it in place. In the future, I’m going to add in a longer elastic so I can wear it outside comfortably.
