ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Tim Grierson is a film and music critic whose writing has appeared in Screen International, Gawker, Paste, L.A. Weekly, Backstage, Vulture, Wired, Blender, and The Village Voice. He is the author of four books, including two in the FilmCraft series: one on cinematography, and one on screenwriting. Tim regularly covers film festivals such as Sundance, Cannes, Toronto, True/False and Outfest, and he is currently vice president of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association.
