Carly Rae Jepsen "Hits The Shower" with güd

güd, the millennial natural personal care brand from Burt's Bees, has joined forces with multi-platinum, GRAMMY nominated singer/songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen. As the brand’s first spokeswoman, Carly glammed-up to shoot her new print ad that takes place in a dream shower turned recording booth. Jepsen belts out her favorite tunes while indulging in the energizing hair and body care products in güd’s new Red Ruby Groovy line.The print ad will appear in May issues of leading fashion, beauty and lifestyle publications such as Glamour, Allure, and Cosmopolitan.

"I spent the day getting dolled-up in a little bit of old school fashion and playing with some amazing products," says Carly of the experience. Behind the scenes, Carly dished about her new single, "Tonight I’m Getting Over You," which launched with a video premiere on VEVO.

When güd was searching for the embodiment of the brand, Carly was an obvious choice. Her high energy, sing-along sound which is self-described as “flower-child pop” is a perfect match for güd's mash-up of indulgent fragrances and natural* formulas with names like Orange Petalooza and Pearanormal Activity.
