Check out LIVAN’s new single, End of the World:

Welcome to Livan’s new single End of the World. Yet again Livan has come up with a modern anthem. This time it’s the modern soundtrack for our media-generated apocalypse, a hard driving rock track that keeps one eye on its punk/goth roots and the other on modern hit sensibility. Livan’s combination of intelligent, original music with ironic, incisive lyrics deconstruct the 21st century in a way that only a Masters in Psychology can.

“Its about how much power the media have over our lives….how dangerous that is….and you know what, I am part of that media so I’ve gotta say something.”

This single comes off the back of Livan’s hugely successful tours with Peter Murphy and Alice Cooper. The crowds were blown away by the hard rocking and theatrics of the show. It’s not often you see a rush for the support band’s merchandise tables, and the overwhelming quote from the fans was “wow, the best support we’ve ever seen, for any band”.

“We wrote this single, and most of the new album on the road….tried out some in the shows and the reception was amazing…..live is what it’s all about… the magic of communicating with an audience is like nothing else.”

Welcome to the beginning of the End.
