The Salmon House on the Hill - Birthday Dinner

December 4th was Patric's birthday. He wanted to go out for dinner so we went to The Salmon House on the Hill in West Vancouver (located near the British Properties). It was a bit of a drive, but it was nice. The food was great as well. This is what we ordered:

Fresh 'Local BC' Oysters
1/2 Dozen Local Oysters, Lemon, Shallot & Pear Mignonette $16

Grilled 'Kettle Ridge' Beef Tenderloin
Honey Braised Apple & Yukon Gold Potato Ragout,

Wild Mushroom, Pearl Onion, Foie Gras Butter $35

Grilled Ahi Tuna
Crispy Basil Polenta, Smoked Tomato & Caper Beurre Blanc $32

Their website lists everything on the menu. They also have a $24 off coupon, which expires December 30, 2009. If you haven't been there before and are willing to try new stuff, I would recommend it.
