It is August 28th, 2009 and this day is our 5th anniversary since our marriage. He came home after work and surprised me with pretty earrings and a gold figurine of a couple from the jewelery store. Wow, was I surprised. I made him a custom-made card and bought a box of Purdy's chocolate Hedgehogs.

Hubby Patric and I spent the evening out at a classy restaurant called West Restaurant. Finally out without Baby Brandon. Grandma was babysitting for a few hours while we were out.

Yes, it was expensive as it was a high class restaurant. The food and the service was great for our first time there. Also, not to forget the nice atmosphere. I ordered Organic Roast Duck Breast and he ordered his Organic Steak. For appetizer, we shared a plate of Seared Tuna (seared on the outside and slightly rare on the inside). Parfait was also served to start.

Just thought I would share this with everyone especially my local friends in the Greater Vancouver Area. You can get free admission to PNE with BC Gold Players card. Go to any casino and apply for the card.

I have always been into scrapbooking and cardmaking, but never really done a lot. I make cards for people. I didn't take any pictures to share though.

It was our 5th year anniversary on August 28th and I decided to create something special for my hubby. Here's a Happy Anniversary card I made and thought I'd share with you.

Nothing too exciting happened lately. I've been trying to spend less to save up for a new dining table. My hubby and I went to a lot of places and saw that Ikea has better and nicer looking ones. I think we are set on a dark color one with extendable sides. We don't have much room so it's gonna be a small one with approximate dimensions of 75cm width x 120cm length x 75cm high.

I have just started creating my own custom brushes in Photoshop and find that it helps me save much of my time in my digital paintings/drawings. It also plays an extremely important role in my projects and for most digital artists. The use of brushes was inspired by well-known digital artist, Marta Dahlig, who I became a fan of her art.
