Iams has just introduced a new kind of prebiotic pet food formula called ProActive Health and are available for both dogs and cats. PreBiotics help to support your pet's defenses and maintain their gastrointestinal health by promoting the growth of good bacteria and encourage healthy digestion. It will also maintain a strong immune system.

I have a cat named Momo and he's an indoor cat. I used to feed him Iams a while back. Since Momo had surgery few years ago for urinary tract infection (from having crystals in the bladder), we've been feeding the expensive Hill's Prescription Diet c/d. He's been doing pretty well now. I am starting to introduce him to the new Iams ProActive Health.

When introducing a new pet food there are many things to consider: age, activity level, eating habits, health issues, and choosing the right pet food. I wouldn't recommend feeding the new food immediately, otherwise it may cause diarrhea or an upset stomach. The most common way to introduce new food is slowly integrate the new food for about a five to seven day period. Start by mixing about 75% of the old food and 25% of the new for the first couple days. Then gradually increase the amount of the new food (and lessening the old food), mixing about 60/40 ratio for the next two days; then 50/50 ratio and so on. At the end, you should be feeding your pet the new food entirely.

I wrote this review while participating in the Iams Blog Tour by Mom Central on behalf of Iams. I received a voucher for a bag of Iams ProActive Health to facilitate this review and a $20 gift card as a thank you for my participation.

Here is my first attempt in making rainbow cupcakes. It turned out better than I thought. I felt bored that day and decided to do some creative baking. It's soft and fluffy; and tastes really yummy! Taste like Angel Food Cake. But too much food coloring isn't good for you.

How did I make these, you ask? I used white cake mix that I bought from the stores. I separate the batter evenly in 6 bowls. Then I mixed in each with different colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple).

Ingredients:
- white cake mix (I used Duncan Hines)
- food coloring
- egg whites
- water
