Yellow

Another close-up shot of my floral photography collection. Spring is here and beautiful flowers are starting to bloom. Time for some more of my outdoor nature photography. Sorry for the lame title. I have no idea what type or flower or the name of this flower. If you are familiar, let me know so I can look up more info.

Iams ProActive Health Pet Food GIVEAWAY

Iams has just introduced a new kind of prebiotic pet food formula called ProActive Health and are available for both dogs and cats. PreBiotics help to support your pet's defenses and maintain their gastrointestinal health by promoting the growth of good bacteria and encourage healthy digestion. It will also maintain a strong immune system.

I have a cat named Momo and he's an indoor cat. I used to feed him Iams a while back. Since Momo had surgery few years ago for urinary tract infection (from having crystals in the bladder), we've been feeding the expensive Hill's Prescription Diet c/d. He's been doing pretty well now. I am starting to introduce him to the new Iams ProActive Health.

When introducing a new pet food there are many things to consider: age, activity level, eating habits, health issues, and choosing the right pet food. I wouldn't recommend feeding the new food immediately, otherwise it may cause diarrhea or an upset stomach. The most common way to introduce new food is slowly integrate the new food for about a five to seven day period. Start by mixing about 75% of the old food and 25% of the new for the first couple days. Then gradually increase the amount of the new food (and lessening the old food), mixing about 60/40 ratio for the next two days; then 50/50 ratio and so on. At the end, you should be feeding your pet the new food entirely.

I wrote this review while participating in the Iams Blog Tour by Mom Central on behalf of Iams. I received a voucher for a bag of Iams ProActive Health to facilitate this review and a $20 gift card as a thank you for my participation.

CGWaves is hosting a Superheroes and Supervillains Art Competition. Contest runs from April 1st through April 30, 2010.

SUBMISSION DETAILS:

  • To participate in the competition every artist must be a registered member of CGWaves.

    Computer Arts Magazine Sale

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend! I'm still mad about the issue with me being accused of art theft. I feel insulted by this. Read my rant on my previous post.

    Computer Arts Magazine Sale

ANYWAYS..... OK, I am having an Art Magazine Sale. I have Computer Arts magazine issues from January 2009 to December 2009. The magazines are in EXCELLENT conditon and I am selling for only $5US each (retails for ~ $12US). If you want the complete set, let me know before individual ones are sold. Rainbow Cupcakes

Here is my first attempt in making rainbow cupcakes. It turned out better than I thought. I felt bored that day and decided to do some creative baking. It's soft and fluffy; and tastes really yummy! Taste like Angel Food Cake. But too much food coloring isn't good for you.

How did I make these, you ask? I used white cake mix that I bought from the stores. I separate the batter evenly in 6 bowls. Then I mixed in each with different colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple).

    Ingredients:
    - white cake mix (I used Duncan Hines)
    - food coloring
    - egg whites
    - water

    I've Been Accused

So I logged on to one of the art communities called SheezyArt and found that one of my latest artwork had been removed from my gallery. I just got a message from one of the moderators, who accused me of art theft. I am shocked! I have linked proof and references of my work. I have NEVER EVER (and will NEVER) steal art as I respect other artists. All credits are properly mentioned in all my works as all of you know. I've had a long tough week and it doesn't make me feel any better. With all the time and effort on my work I've put in (and sore eyes), I'm upset! NOTE: Please read details in the descriptions before assuming anything. I don't know why so many people don't read.  I've CLEARLY provided detailed description with reference links and they assume copying. Yes, the real photo is not mine's, but the art IS! Would you call this stealing?

I joined these other art communities to share my work and be exposed around the world. Now that I find that there are a lot of "unfriendly" people and immature kids on SheezyArt, my friends tell me to get out of there. I don't call it a critique when they just say your work is "ugly" or "unpleasant" or other negative comments. There's no respect. Because of this, I will be closing my account.

There are also other small art communities where I submit art, but have to wait for the admin to approve before it is posted (which takes about a week or more). It's kinda dumb. Or there's other sites that nobody leaves any feedback at all. But that is another story unlike the above mentioned. Yes, it really hurts me and my reputation.

Thank-you, my friends over at CGWaves and DeviantArt, for the comforting and support.

I have sent a private message to the moderator

This is the first time I have ever been accused of art theft. Seriously... As a true artist, I don't support copied work nor steal from others. I always credit every reference that I use. This issue really hurts me and my reputation. If you didn't read my entire description, please look again.
