So lately, I have been feeling a bit lazy when it comes to cooking a really good meal. Not that I always go all-out with cooking, but I just can't think of what to make. It's almost mostly a last-minute thing. I like making noodle soup because it's the easiest. So this is what I made the other day: Spinach noodles with BBQ pork & veggies.

Here's a similar dish I made a while back (Vermicelli noodle soup with Luncheon meat, egg, and bok choy:

So what is a blog? In my definition, a blog is a web log (or a journal) that can be viewed on the internet in an HTML web browser. For a more detailed explanation, go to Wikipedia.

With blog advertising, it is one way to promote and increase traffic to a website. Since blogging (reading and writing them) has become popular, it is an effective way to reach targeted audiences.

How blog advertising works: Advertisers look for blog sites that will help promote their products effectively. And as for the blogger, they get paid to blog about the advertiser’s products, services, and/or recommendations.

If you're interested in earning a bit of commission or make some extra money, you can register your blog as a publisher.

Take a look at Blogadvertisingstore's Blog about Everything on Blog Advertising for a list of discussions and give them a comment.

Since the opening of Beard Papa's, I would go there occasionally for their desserts. I had to try some Beard Papa's famous cream puffs even with the long wait at the lineup. I actually bought a dozen to share with the family.

Those famous cream puffs are made with a crunchy puff pastry filled with fresh and all natural original custard combined with whipped cream. My favorite flavors they have available are vanilla (original), green tea, strawberry, and mango. Which flavor is your favorite?

Don't want to go out too much. Afraid of the H1N1 going around. It could happen to anybody. The following are general guidelines for prevention and care.

H1N1 Guidelines

* Cover nose and mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing (Dispose the tissue in the trash after use). Cough and sneeze into your arm, not your hand if no tissue is available to use.
* Handwash with soap and water (especially after coughing or sneezing)
* Clean hands with alcohol-based hand cleaners (such as antibacterial gel)
* Avoid close contact with sick people
* Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands
* If sick with influenza, staying home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them
* Avoid large crowds if there is a breakout in your city
* Keep common surface areas clean and disinfected
* Get plenty of rest
* If possible try to avoid stress which can lower your immune system
* Eat healthy - fresh fruits & veggies
* Drink plenty of fresh water

Note: Pregnant women and young children are the most vulnerable to the swine flu and should take extra precautions.

We wear a poppy
On Remembrance Day,
And at eleven
We stand and pray.
Wreaths are put
Upon a grave.
As we remember
Our soldiers brave.

-----------------------------------

In Flander's Fields

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flander's fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, tho poppies grow
In Flander's fields.
