Vancouver Auto Show - One Week Countdown

Vancouver, BC – One week today, organizers of Western Canada’s best-attended consumer event, the Vancouver International Auto Show, will open the doors to the 2019 event. From March 19 to 24, the Vancouver Convention Centre will transform into the ultimate playground for automotive enthusiasts.

Show-goers will be greeted by more than 400-vehicles, displayed by the world’s leading manufacturers, in addition to classics, modified supercars, and specialty one-off creations.

In the “not to be missed” category, the Vancouver Auto Show will mark the Canadian debut for the famed and heavily modified 1965 notchback Mustang, known as the Hoonicorn Mustang. The Canadian made and designed Felino Supercar makes its Western Canadian debut. Also making its first appearance in Western Canada is the McLaren Senna, one of the most widely anticipated supercars of 2019.

The 2019 Auto Show offerings in the luxury & exotic class will be a showcase of the who’s who, including Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Bentley, Aston Martin, Lotus and more.

Some of the finest original and restored vintage automobiles to be found anywhere, will be under one roof – and for car enthusiasts of a specific generation, the first new Toyota Supra to be produced in North America in 21-years will be on display. For those who grew up as fans of the Transformer cartoon series and move franchise, making its first appearance will be Bumblebee, was one of eight VW bugs used in the movie of the same name.

A unique feature of the annual Auto Show is the opportunity for visitors to test-drive and learn more about the newest electric, plug-in hybrid and fuel cell clean energy vehicles – through an expanded Electric Vehicle Discovery Centre, with its test drive experience, presented by CEVforBC™ and charged up by FLO. In total, the test-drive selection of more than 30 hybrid and electric vehicles (EV) was the largest ever, with many of the top-selling brands available.
