This great little combination lock will make a great stocking stuffer for students, friends, colleagues, use at the gym, or for anyone who can use it for keeping their belongings secure.

The company’s revolutionary 1500iD Speed Dial combination lock was named a winner in the recent 2010 Chicago Innovation Awards. Master Lock was selected as one of only ten winners out of 322 nominees for forever altering the way combination locks function with the Speed Dial’s first-of-its-kind directional combination system.

The 1500iD opens on directional movements (up, down, left and right) instead of the standard rotary dial.  The 1500iD Speed Dial Lock is fast to open than traditional locks, saving users valuable time as they hurry to and from class or their workouts at the gym. It also features a customizable code and is resettable. You can create your own combo! Any combo! It includes adhesive stickers with numbers, letters, colors, shapes, and symbols and can be applied over the directional arrows, but it's optional.

I prefer the set-your-own combination locks because I can reset it and change it as often as I like. The directional combination makes it easy to open without the hassle. To reset, you simply open the lock, then flip the switch at the back and dial in your new combination and close the lock again.
