Photo of the Day: Medicine Lake (Alberta)

Medicine Lake is located within Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. It is located approximately 20 km southeast of the townsite of Jasper, Alberta. Medicine Lake is approximately 7 km long and is a relatively shallow lake. - Wikipedia

It was the summer of 2015 and our family went on a road trip vacation to explore the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Along the road to Medicine Lake, trees were burnt due to a forest fire in early July 2015 that was started by a strike of lightning. Thanks to firefighers who saved most of the forest nearby. We finally came upon a spectacular view of Medicine Lake within the Rockies and decided to stop by for photos and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
