Yaquina Bay near Newport, Oregon

This is from day 6 of our Oregon Coast road trip. We were heading up north along HWY 101 (aka Oregon Coast Hwy) towards Newport and planned to see the Oregon Coast Aquarium and the Yaquina Bay area. Yaquina Bay is a small bay partially within Newport, Oregon. There are lots of great views here and some shops to see along the Bay Street Pier.



Yaquina Bay Bridge
The Yaquina Bay Bridge is an arch bridge that spans Yaquina Bay south of Newport, Oregon. It is one of the most recognizable of the U.S. Route 101 bridges designed by Conde McCullough.
