Richmond Maritime Festival 2012

A couple of weeks ago, our family attended the 9th annual celebration of Richmond Maritime Festival at Britannia Heritage Shipyard. It was a 3-day event (August 10-12, 2012), but we were only there on the Saturday. There were lots of attractions: boats, exhibits, activities for children, vendors, food, music and performances. The celebration showcased elements of First Nations, Celtic, Japanese, Chinese and other cultures.
