Brief summary of the Tuesday morning of September 11, 2001 attack: Four passenger jets were hijacked by 19 terrorists from the Islamist miliant group al-Qaeda. They intentionally crashed two of the planes into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. Both the towers collapsed within two hours. It was a day with dark memories of fear and horror of the fallen, but the most importantly is the remembrance of those who took their lives saving others and helping each other. I was not in New York when the attacked happened, but was constantly listening to the news at home in Vancouver, Canada. I did visit the city a few years later and went to look at the site. It made me felt emotional and almost brought tears to my eyes.
