Anime Revolution 2016 [Photos & Recap]

It was a busy weekend. I had been doing photoshoots all week and post-processing. But I didn't mind because I love what I do. It was a fun and productive weekend at Vancouver Convention Center and around Canada Place. I'm a huge fan of anime and I attended the 3-day Anime Revolution event on August 5-7th. I brought my son as my assistant photographer. He loves anime stuff and he was really thrilled to join me in documenting this event.

Day 1 was super packed at the ticket lineup area. It moves pretty quick though. I had trouble finding the info/will call booth as it was hidden near the back, but managed to find it after asking one of the event volunteers (in the blue shirt). The other event volunteer (in the pink shirt) directed me to the wrong place so I've been running around.

We were amazed to see so many cosplayers outside showing off their costumes and their craftsmanship in putting together their designs and hand-made weapons. Here are some of my favorites:

Also, check out the full cosplay gallery on my Facebook Page to see more:

One of the favorite hangout is exhibition room where the vendor booths are all together. I know, it's tempting when you see something you really like and end up spending.

Look at all these adorable Pokemon Plushies and anime posters and accessories!

In the vendor exhibition hall, we spotted Anime Revolution's Subaru. Loving it!
