Vancouver: Thanks Project Leaders for Applying Neighbourhood Small Grants

Originally posted on Frog Hollow Community Connections Blog (I am also a blog contributor for Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House).

As resident committee member for Vancouver Foundation's Neighbourhood Small Grants, I would like to thank everyone who applied for the grant for their community projects. We had our cheque distribution event at Frog Hollow Neighbourhood on May 4th. I had the chance meet some new people and also put the name to the faces. To get people interested and engaged, we'd set up a small activity where attendees provided their thoughts about what our next possible neighbourhood would look like and what it would include. Sticky notes were posted and shared on the wall. All were great ideas.

Me and other resident committee members representing Kiwassa Neighbourhood House, Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood House, and Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House:

We can’t wait to see your NSG project and participate in the activities.
