Vancouver, BC  (March 23, 2016) - Interior design and international travel have never gone this well together. Applications have opened for the Kabuni #go12x12 Contest - a creative search for the Brand’s International Ambassador. After entrants submit their #go12x12 Inspiration Boards through the Kabuni App, one winner will be selected from a group of 12 semi-finalists, and will hop on a plane on January 2, 2017, taking off to experience 12 countries in 12 months; sharing the stories of the people and places they meet along the way.

It’s an expansive opportunity to grow. It’s an impactful way to contribute to a bigger conversation about culture, design, community and social responsibility. And, it’s an opportunity to further the winner’s career, helping Kabuni grow through their experience when they return home.

Beyond the contribution to the design community, Neil also sees the value in the trip bringing light to an important Kabuni initiative: creating positive social change in local communities world wide.

“Our International Ambassador will champion Kabuni in each of the 12 countries, and get involved in giving a voice to local community initiatives aimed at reducing homelessness. We see this as a life changing opportunity for immense professional and personal growth which has the potential to lead into a more permanent place in the Kabuni family.”
