Life in Film: Consequence of Sound Debut Album + Touring w/The Wombats

"Adorned with guitars that seem to burst like confetti and party streamers, it’s an energetic little pop gem about second chances and that butterflies-in-your-stomach feeling you get when you run into an old flame." - Consequence of Sound

With two EPs, a support slot with The Rolling Stones, global gigs with Burberry after Christopher Bailey hand-picked them (frontman Samuel Fry also modelled for Burberry) and radio plays from Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens and 6Music’s Lauren Laverne under their belt, 2015 looks set to be the year Life In Film crystallise on their early promise.

Following two previous premieres on Billboard and Interview Magazine, the Hackney based four-piece arrive today with a stellar new single, "Alleyway" on Consequence of Sound. Produced by Stephen Street (The Smiths, Blur, Kaiser Chiefs), ‘Alleyway’ is an ode to lovers past - Consequence of Sound said;

"If the track’s lovelorn verses don’t make you nostalgic for “the one that got away,” Fry’s feverish croon (charming British accent included!) certainly will."

Effortlessly carving a niche in London’s musical landscape as well as garnering fans in the USA and Germany – +1 Records (The Heavy) are releasing the album in the States and after selling out Berlin & Hamburg shows on their last visit, Embassy of Music(Passenger, Robyn) will be putting out the LP Germany.
