The Jumper Card: Jumper Cables For Your Phone

Do you ever forget to fully charge your phone, especially when you're traveling, and you need an outlet but can't get to it? There's a solution. Introducing the the Jumper Card (www.jumpercard.net). It is a card-sized emergency battery charger that fits in your pocket, your wallet, or purse. I'm sure many of you would be very interested in finding out more about it.

I was given the opportunity to test out the Jumper Card for myself and I find it very convenient and portable. Nobody likes to carry separate chargers for their multiple devices with them and the hassle of tangled wires and cables. I thought it is quite a clever invention. I use GPS on my iPhone every time I travel or go on a road trip. I don't want my phone battery to to die on me so I always have the Jumper Card with me when I need it.

It features 3 connectors: 30-pin for the older Apple devices, Lightning for the newer Apple devices and Micro USB for most smartphones. It also comes with a USB to plug into your computer or laptop to recharge the jumper card.  Inside the unit is a 480mAh rechargeable battery.  It doesn't give you a full charge, but enough to give you about an extra 10% boost and about 1 hour of talk time. When you need to charge your device, just pop out the connectors from the "card" and plug it into your device.  Another convenient addition is the LED flashlight which can be used for finding things in the dark. It's actually pretty bright.  There's a 3-way switch on the side for "off", "charge", and "LED". When you set it to "charge", a green light will come on to tell you it's ready.

It is still undergoing the Indiegogo campaign project funding. The goal is to raise $10,000 to cover manufacturing costs. If you decide to give them support and help make a contribution, you can get one of your own Jumper Card for as low as $19USD. There's a limited number for that, but you can take a look at other perks for your contributions. Check out the link here: http://igg.me/at/jumpercard
