Back to School with Master Lock: Review & Giveaway (Closed)

School is just around the corner and it's time of the year again to get backed with Back-to-School supplies. What's also important about going back to school is having a reliable combination lock to keep the safety of your belongings. I was given the opportunity to review Master Lock combination locks, the 1590D Precision Dial Lock and the 1500iD Speed Dial Lock.

Remember those old-fashioned silver-colored combination locks back in those days (I had them when I was in high-school 15 years ago) and how they took a awhile to unlock, especially when you're in a hurry that you couldn't open it? And almost everyone had the same-looking locks for every locker. Master Lock has now come up with various designs and colors on these pad locks and combination locks.

The 1590D Precision Dial Set-Your-Own Combination Lock has an improved design and security. This is like the traditional combination dial pad, but with both numbers and letters. It also offers a new resettable combination feature if you forgot your combination or want a new code. The dials click to the numbers/letters for precision. It comes with the key for changing your combination, but don't lose it if you want to change it again in the future.

The 1500iD Speed Dial Set-Your-Own Combination Lock opens on directional movements (up, down, left and right) instead of the standard rotary dial. When I was in school, occasionally I'm in a hurry so I run between classes carrying extra books for the next class. And also kinda lazy going to my locker. The 1500iD Speed Dial Lock is fast to open than traditional locks. So far I haven't run into any problems. I like this one a lot because it saves me a bit of time and it's something different. It also features a customizable code and is resettable. It includes adhesive stickers with numbers, letters, colors, shapes, and symbols and can be applied over the directional arrows.

For extra measure of convenience, users can visit http://www.combolocker.com, allowing them to store multiple combinations or codes in in a secure database that can be accessed online 24/7, 365 days/year.

With the new Master Lock Combination Locks, they are easier to use, affordable, and that users can set their own combination codes. I also like the variety of colors to choose from. These are great uses for school, at the gym, storage cabinets, or traveling.
