NYFW’s Best Accessory: The Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light

A beauty must-have for every model at this year’s Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week, the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light was an essential skin pick-me-up backstage at the Chadwick Bell show.

In order to get “runway ready,” the models backstage at the Chadwick Bell Spring/Summer 2014 fashion show received Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light treatments from celebrity aesthetician Eileen Harcourt. With models’ hectic schedules and constant makeup application, it’s easy for break outs to arise. Thankfully, soothing blue light treatments eliminated any acne-causing bacteria beneath the skin leaving them with a smooth, clear canvas for makeup.

Celebrity aesthetician Eileen Harcourt removed any makeup on the models’ faces and then moved the blue light over their skin for two and a half minutes. In a clinical study, 94% of users noticed fewer breakouts in just two weeks after using the device daily for five minutes a day! The models (and their skin!) loved the treatment.

The Chadwick Bell show’s look was clean, contoured skin with pop of vibrant red color on the lips. The collection was inspired by southern California’s 1960’s beach culture: structured and saturated hues and refined, sophisticated clothing. With the help of the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue light, the show’s best accessory was definitely the model’s glowing skin!
