Backstage Makeup at Emmy's Ball with Dinair

Challenge Accepted:
Dinair Airbrush Makeup Gets Misty backstage at the Primetime Governors Ball

Behind Hollywood’s most prestigious event, occupying the backstage of the 57,600-square-foot space inside the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center, Dinair Airbrush Makeup returned for the second year in a row to the Primetime Emmy Awards Governors Ball for hair and makeup.

Founded by award-winning international makeup artist and airbrush authority Dina Ousley, Dinair is the entertainment and beauty industry’s preferred airbrush makeup providing flawless, natural and high-definition coverage since 1981.

This year, Dina and her team of twenty-plus, created the look for the entertainers and performers at the official after-party for the 64TH annual Emmy Awards inspired by the décor theme, “A Romantic Rhapsody in Red.”

Dina hand dyed and created more than ten dramatic 1960s style hair motifs for the singing group “The Red Hots” and triplet violinists “Alizma.” Each hairpiece mimicked rose petals and perfectly highlighted the explosion of red in the venue. Using their signature personal airbrush compressor, Dinair also applied gorgeous show-stopping makeup for the performers.

We married the old with the new,” said Ousley about the never-before-seen rose bud hairstyle. “And look, it paid off!

Dinair is currently used and distributed in salons and by professional makeup artists worldwide in more than 60 countries and headquartered in Southern California.
